Vestas receives 168MW order from Hydro Tasmania
Vestas Wind Systems A/S was awarded the contract for 168MW of wind turbines for Musselroe Wind Farm, Tasmania, Australia, by Hydro Tasmania.
The Denmark-based company will supply and install 56 V90-3.0MW wind turbines, including a VestasOnline Business SCADA solution. In addition, Hydro Tasmania signed a 10-year service agreement with Vestas.
Delivery is expected during 4Q2012 with completion of the project scheduled for June 2013.
